At my job, there are two letter abbreviations for all of our buildings around town. Two of the buildings are CT for Centennial and BW for Broadway. On more than one occasion I almost said Cazic Thule or Burning Woods out loud to coworkers when referring to those buildings.

I also once said "sigh" out loud to my Mom. She thought I was nuts.

I was driving the kids to school this morning, and was about 4 cars behind a school bus.
When it stopped to pick up some kids, one of the cars drove right past the red lights. I
told the kid “ to bad I can not root & nuke that fool mob.”

The kids said:” I was being weird again.”

        I totally empathize.

At work, a key combination I have to press hundreds of times is VT.

I always think Vex Thal, even though I have never been there.

A lot of my friends on AIM get messages that start out with '/r' or '/gu' when I am tired...

I saw a car with the tag number '65W-ODS' and spent a while trying to figure out what a warrior, even a level 65 warrior, would want with an Obulus Death Shroud...

One of my bosses at work is forever messing up the computer system, or otherwise rendering it unstable or unusable. We call him 'The Tinkerer.' (It sure is nice working with other EQers...)

Yep. I see me in many of these. Walking to lunch the other day, I stepped over a piece of wood lying on the ground -- oak bark ground spawn, I was sure!

                  life imitates EQ

2 weekends ago my guild met up in RL down in Austin TX. (Illumin Cathari - Sol Ro)

One night in the hotel bar, I bet a beer with a fellow guildie that he wouldn't treat the bartender as a Soulbinder.

He walked right up to the bartender, looked him square in the eye, and said "Bind my soul".

                  The bartender said "huh?"

I jumped in and said "he'd like another Shiner" lol

In a conversation with someone, they asked how my car was holding up. I wanted to tell them that it was holding up, but just barely. Looking back, I am kind of ashmed, but still grinning.

Last month, I had a really good night gaming (and 4 hours sleep) and while driving to work that next morning, I reached over to the radio controls and was looking for the "sense heading" button, lol. I sat back and started thinking that humming the tune for EQ was bad enough but...... Bumperr Willowthorn, 58th Druid on Xev

                        Did that too

I was driving home late from seeing a performance (Lord of the Dance) and was not sure if I turned the right way to get back to the highway. I mentally searched for the sense heading button and am very glad the car was dark and my wife couldn't see me ops: .

More than once I have wanted to say lol out loud.

Fortunately he was an EQ player so he understood... and nearly hurt himself laughing at me.
