When you hit F9 to try to refresh an internet page (instead of F5).

When your roommate tells you her noob frog alt just dinged 6, and you say, "say rock on!"

When your roommate is COMPLETELY UNFAZED by that statement.

When your roommate asks you, "Watcha doing?" And you calmly reply, "Brewing up some Vodka." And she's unfazed by that too. (meanwhile your bf on the phone is like, "........")

Lately, when writing notes to people, I am tempted to add /smile or /bow at the end...

I also find myself in the habit of saying "grumble" out loud. Thank you serverwide.eqtraders...

Nasty Ninja Looter

It was real bad when myself & 2 other EQ friends decided to try a night away from EQ and play a LAN connected game of Diablo II. We're all in the same house playing and 1 friend was constantly grabbing all the gold & gem drops before we even got a chance to see them. Suddenly, you hear "**** you !! you filthy 'Ninja Looter'"

OK, that's REALLY funny. I just did the same thing with Dialbo II and I keep messing myself up by THINKING like I'm playing EQ. I never realized how much of the patterns of combat I've gotten used to from EQ. And ANYTHING we talk about is, of course, in EQ lingo since we seem to have FORGOTTEN how to refer to spells without using things like buff, debuf, DoT, Etc.

:? ....I think im the worst of everyone. On more than one occasion, I have said, out loud, in public "I wish I could screenshot real life".

Not to mention thinking I can gate home from class, or thinking I can skill up by making dinner, etc.

My other-half asked me how dinner was coming along and I responded "All the pre-combines are done." Scarily, I hadn't really thought about what I said until he asked me if Roast Beef and Potatos was trivial.

A friend still laughs at me about baking in game, FINALLY I got 250 and screeched happily and bounced about and then said "Oh &%$£ my onions are burning AFK!" and ran into the kitchen where my RL food was ruined. :/
