edit: um ... that's not a plat sales site, unless something has changed. They let you figure out prices on items so you know what to vendor mine, buy/sell in the bazaar, etc.

Did it actually mention plat selling? Or was the ad just ambiguous enough to be confuzzling because it teaches you legit ways to make plat?

I looked around the EQProfits site. I didn't see anything about plat selling. Mostly it looks like a site to help you make plat the semi legit way (tradeskills, quests, kills, etc). While a lot of their information doesn't appear to be correct or uptodate, I didn't see anything that would violate the eula.
