Kirin Horn

Has anyone had any luck finding these Kirin Horn anywhere in DoN? They are supposedly in existence for making Interplanar Brain Blaster, the FD drink. Has this item yet been made by anyone? It appears in EQ Traders, but after many many kirins, I have yet to see this drop. Any ideas or information?

I've got my guild looking for them so I can make them for the guild clerics for raiding. Haven't seen any sign of it yet.

It may only be in Lucy because it was on a vendor during beta, like racnar hides.

I have a Kirin Horn that dropped in a Thundercrest instance (the one where you have collect the flower in garden)...its the only one ive ever seen though.

Guilty as charged. I've made an Interplanar Brain Blaster with a kirin horn I received from an EQ-friend. According to Lucy, its effect is instant FD, but since it's so rare, I haven't actually field tested it.

They exist. I've found 3 while vendor diving. (At different times.)

I did not find it listed on the buyer window last time I put my buyer up (a couple of days now). I /bugged it and will check again later.

I found my kirin horn while vendor diving so unfortunately I can't give any assistance on where they drop.

Thundercrest is the only place I have seen Kirin's so far. They are the goat looking unicorn mobs.

There are Kirins in Stillmoon instances too (usually just 5 when I do the Statue Plans mission, whatever it's called). I haven't seen them drop any horns yet, but then, I wasn't looking too close at the time.

My group got one in the History Isle instance in Thundercrest (I think that's the zone). it was my first time there. I've killed Kirins in the Ascent before but none dropped them. I have the horn and want very much to make the drink, but my brewing is only 200, so I may seek out a 300 brewer (if you are on e'ci look me up). It'd be nice to have an FD option on those really bad pulls that drive me to drinking anyway.

dont try to farm them at the end of ascent zone where you have 5 kirins on the place. i farmed them 6 hours and didnt got a horn.
when don came out i have looted one, but i am not sure if it was in TI or in an instance trial.
