Can anyone confirm that the effect works to clear aggro? If not then it's most certainly not a true FD and is pretty much worthless.

I saw one in bazaar not too long ago as I wanted to make that blaster juice as a 'get out of bad raid' card
Usually helps a lot if one cleric survives to rez everyone else so no one needed to run a long way naked.
But 20k
is a bit much for a horn and we don't even know if the juice can clear aggro or not. Already farmed everything else to make more than 5 combines.
The horn dissapeared the next day and I haven't seen any for sale since then. But the screenshot I made can prove it exists in the game:

I FINALLY made one. Had a BL test it on a green mob in Sanctus Seru of all places. He fell to the ground, but mob kept hitting him with no loss of aggro. Fun drink but appears not FD. If we could make hundreds and test it, maybe it would show up an FD here and there, but doesn't seem to be an aggro loser at this stage.

Since FD is a skill you may want to have it tested by a Monk...if it works for them it will aat least show there's a slim chance it will work for others...Originally posted by VermilyaI FINALLY made one. If it's a bug, then just a matter of tweaking the spell effect ... since mobs can force you to FD, a drink can do it too w/o any skill check (remember the FD masks from SSeru when SoL came out, anyone? Bueler?)
If it's intentional to NOT be a FD but just falling to the ground, then the drink is useless and the alchemists will rejoice that they can potentionally get ahold of horns for making best breakable bottles.

I would certainly hope they would not put a FD on a brewed drink. At the most, it should be alchemy to make such a potentially unbalancing effect.
Mage runs really fast through a bunch of see invis mobs. He clicks his Feign Death after he gets through. He waits until they have forgotten him and pathed back to their spawn points. He gets up and COTH's the party through.
Cleric sees a wipe comming and hits his FD and waits for the mobs to go away. Once it is safe, he gets back up and starts ressing.
Cleric runs really fast through a bad place dragging a necro's body. After he gets through (using DI if necessary), he hits the FD and waits for mobs to leave. Once it is safe, he gets up and resses the necro. Necro summons bodies of raid, cleric resses 'em. Major shortcut.
I think that was why they stopped handing out res-sticks. Rogue would SoS through an area dragging a mage's body. When he gets to a safe place, clickie res the mage, who starts CotH'ing the raid in.

Would depend on the scarity of components though wouldn't it? Helping one raid that way once in a blue moon is not neccessarily unbalancing.Originally posted by QuichonI would certainly hope they would not put a FD on a brewed drink. Or, a necro runs through really fast with a mage corpse and FD's. When aggro clears, he stands up, rezzes the mage with an essence emerald, pumps the mage full of mana, and the mage COHs the entire party through.Mage runs really fast through a bunch of see invis mobs. Unbalancing how? If rez sticks couldn't be used by rogues, they wouldn't be unbalancing either.

What's the difference if it is brewed or made through Alchemy/Poison Making. Sure, everyone can make if it is through brewing, but only rogues/shaman can if it's the other way. Most high end guilds have atleast one Rogue and/or shaman maxed in those skills anyway.Originally posted by QuichonI would certainly hope they would not put a FD on a brewed drink. Rez sticks weren't broken anyway. The way people recharged them was completely broken.

Necro feign death cast time is 1 second which makes this more difficult.Originally posted by GhismondaOr, a necro runs through really fast with a mage corpse and FD's.
