Far far easier to not bother with HQ wolf skins, and just use low quality to high quality cat pelts for everything from leather padding to tailored quivers.

Wolf skins and bear pelts are too rare to bother with compared to the often dropping cat pelts in East Karana and Stonebrunt.

        Progressive Smithing

        Also,

        Smithing:

        1 - 18: Metal Bits
        19 - 35: Studs
        36 - 41: Scaler
        42 - 74: Dairy spoon
        75 - 90: Banded mask
        91 - 92: Banded gorget
        93 - 95: Banded bracer/boots
        96 - 102: Banded gauntlets
        103 - 106: Banded Helm
        107 - 108: Banded leggings
        109 - 115: Banded mail
        116 - 122: Embroidery needle
        123 - 132: Bile Spine
133 - 162: Cultural sewing kits (If human or barbarian, just smelt fine steel weapons into high quality ore to save money.)
        163 - 163: Fine plate visor
        164 - 166: Fine plate collar
        167 - 168: Fine plate bracer
        169 - 175: Fine plate vambraces
        176 - 179: Fine plate helm
        180 - 182: Fine plate greaves
        183 - 188: Fine plate breastplate

Beyond that point there's not much one can do, as many cultural recipes have been disabled and other recipes require items from Luclin and Lost Dungeons of Norrath. Try some of your cultural armors though, maybe you'll get lucky.

Don't think so, I think those were introduced in luclin with Xanthe's Earring of Nature.

Oh.. I guess they're older recipes than I thought or just weren't deactivated. On another note, how are people rich enough to do enough combines of Gem Studded Chains to combine succesfully o.0

Sickles are a 300pp+ combine with almost 0 chance of success at 188 skill. They are active on progression. At least they show in the forge recipes haven't actually tries one.

I have seen 270+ jewelers. Success on chains is decent at that point.
