This guide other then suggestions is more or less Dead since the revamp of Alchemy, but will leave it up for posterity sake.
a few humble sugestions on your quest to skillup.
1) Get Alchemy Mastery 3 !
2) Get wis as close to 370 as possible (check the skillup formula for why)
3) There is no single path to skillup, use all that is at your table, save the higher skillup components for when nothing else will take you to that skill. (employ a mule!)
4) Get salage if you can, fails will every now and then return ingredients.
