  • Foraging Compendium story mod

I went to make the retired Ceinweins foraging compendium version 5 into a story mod

    Download Foraging Compendium (zip-file)

I was tired of switching between browser and game multiple times a day to check out all the items I somehow get foraged every other second - I hate carrying some no drop druid epic around, since I am always out of room 24/7

I hope a few happy helpfull foragers on EQ Traders will be interested in trying this mod and give me feedback. I am looking for feedback regarding content update, quests related to foraging, items with forage modificator, experiences with Nature's Bounty, and wishes for the setup and suggestions to improve usability.

I am adding quest info concerning foraged items, with reference to who wrote it and where I found it. I am adding items, mostly from DoN zones, and updating old content when I find new information.

Feel free to try it out and send me feedback ingame or through this board for updates and comments.
Flaming about content will be ignored, eloquent polite complaints about source of information will be validated and the text removed or updated.

Tried to find the Foragers Unite on guild portal, but it (GP)wasn't playing well with others (me).

I foraged the following in Lavaspinners and Broodlands
    Scale Ore: Size:Small, Wt: 0.1, Stack: Y, Lore: N, Magic: Y, NoDrop: N, Meal Type: -, Usage: Jewelcraft ?

I added a thread for additions, tried to keep the format the same as in the mod.

Thanks for doing this, I was getting very tired of windowing out and my hard copy is extremely dog-earred.

            compendium doesn't work for me..

I downloaded this and placed it in the required folder to no avail. It does not work at all for me..I have no access to it in-game. Any ideas as to the problem?

I was out completely when I downloaded it and placed it in the folder. I logged in just after, and it's not there.

I have seen two errors, that would prevent the mod from working. Forgetting to unpack the downloaded file or placing the txt-files in the wrong folder:

                Download zip-file
Unpack the files from the zip-file to the everquest storyline folder.

                Mine is set up here:
                C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\storyline\storyForaging.txt
                C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\storyline\Foraging\Alph0-9.txt
                C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\storyline\Foraging\AlphA.E.tx t
                C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\storyline\Foraging\AlphF-J.txt
                C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\storyline\Foraging\AlphK-O.txt
                C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\storyline\Foraging\AlphP-T.txt
                C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\storyline\Foraging\AlphU-Z.txt
                C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\storyline\Foraging\Hotkeyed.t xt
                C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\storyline\Foraging\Mods.txt
                C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\storyline\Foraging\Q-CrestW.txt
                C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\storyline\Foraging\Q-Machet.txt

Log on, and it should be there in the story window with the name FORAGING COMPENDIUM.

The Foraging Compendium story mod v0.3

Some minor updates to old content and a few new items from the Darkhollow expansion has been added.
