Market for JARS of clockwork grease?

Lately I've bee fighitng in PoI a lot and with my typically foraging work ethic (forage whenver the button is up, even if in the middle of a battle and I have to turn autoattack of a sec) been getting a handful of clcokwork grease. Been saving it up and once I get a quanity of it, put it in jars and try to sell the jars of it. I've noticed in the Bazaar I'm the only one selling it pre-jarred, everyone else is selling the raw foraged grease. Do you think gnomes would pay to avoid the pottery chores involved in jarring it? I've actually been pricing my jars at the same price as the regular grease and was wondering if I would be able to get more by saving gnomes the jarring chore. Basing this on the fact that smiths pay well for leather padding to avoid doing the farming involved.

BTW, I've been selling jars for 19pp on my server (Sol Ro) and always seem to sell quick.

I think people will pay for what they think their time is worth to jar the grease... It's not very expensive and not very hard if you have some pottery skills... I guess it all depends on how much time and money you have

I could have used a ton last night for ele cam combines, I'd say there's likely a market on my server for sure, not sure bout where else

Much as I figured, hehe. Many would likely pay to save the tedium of subcombines, even easy ones.

Think I'll keep my jars the same price as what the going rate is for raw grease, will keep a brisk business going. I could probably charge more but will take me longer to sell them (there's a psychological effect that makes charging 30pp for a jar look like more money than charging 20pp for an individual grease, even though the jar is actually CHEAPER, the logic doesn't kick in fast enough for them not to go to another trader quite often). Foraging costs me nothing and small jars are dirt cheap to make, so it's almost all profit anyway, hehe.

Yes, but it's not vey expensive or hard to make leather padding, hehe, but it goes for 25 to 30pp EACH on my server. It's obwe of my best source of profit. Suppose the reason is people just don't want to take the time to farm and make it; regardless of how easy it is to do, it gets very time consuming if you're trying to skill up on fine plate or cultural. Sad, I GMed brewing just to have my most profitable recipe be something that's trivial at 31 tailoring. Oh well, plat is plat, guess no point in whinig how i get it.

Anyone using the jars of clockwork grease to do elemental bow combines en masse would gladly pay for someone else to do the grunt work (foraging and jaring). If you ever move to Drinal, gimme a tell!

The JARS OF GREASE are particularly annoying since any quanity production requires you either make the jars yourself or stand there and do combines while Potter creates the jars. All becasue the JARS are containers.
This was true of the old world armor dyes as well.

*chuckle* Jars aren't much to make, but they ARE tedious. I'd be more inclined to buy them pre-made but they are running ~50pp each on E'Ci.
