  • Someone please esplain.

Or sum-up if you have no time.

This question is only remotely related to tinkering as a tradeskill but I can't think of a better group of people to ask. I read somewhere that gnomish fireworks are good for pulling. I don't know whether to believe this or not but if it IS true, can someone explain how that works? (being a Ranger, I'll stick to my trusty bow but I'm curious).

One point of Damage, long range.

One point of damage is easy for the tank to out-taunt.

And excellent quote, by the way.

I think you refer to happy dragon (20 charge 1 pt dd). The fireworks dont have a dd component (reduce stam loss by 1, instant, according to lucy), so I don't think they can be used to pull.

I know that when the Happy Dragon recipe was introduced with PoP, they could be used for pulling. The main attraction was the 200 range.

I don't know if the Happy Dragon still works for pulling.

          OK, that helps. Thank you.

A follow-up question: After looking up the recipe in PoP tinkering I can see that one of the fireworks in needed for making the happy dragon but what is it's purpose? (Since it looks like the pulling effect is not it) Is it just suppose to be a fun thing or is there another use?

Fireworks, IIRC, are just "Flair" I believe.

Players seem to have found an added use for the Happy Dragon, but other then that , I think they were probably just fun, pointless stuff, Like gnome cookies, or dwarves.

I'm sure it was just a grammatical error. <whistles innocently and tries REAL hard to look naive enough to believe it>

Forget it, Morani. The fact that you posted this and got yourself caught up in the silliness is proof positive that your innocence is feigned. :P
