  • non-gnome tinkering?

I read somewhere that you didn't have to be a gnome to tinker certain things, but all of the possible items have a trivial of 50. Is this correct?

Anybody can hit combine on a toolbox, although you will have a tinkering skill of 0. It's enough to make fireworks without too horrible a failure rate.

anyone can do alchemy the same way too.

Dont think its possible with research (as you need to be a certain class to hit the combine button on certain containers)

I'm happy for you Keqen, fireworks are fun and it's nice to see you enjoy them

(now that Verant improved them - I had sent in a suggestion to!)

I'm glad being able to summon them, but I can only summon one kind, so I still buy from gnomes.

Althought, I've found a couple seem to barely work. Still checking them out

You won't be able to combine the items that have a skill level requirements (obviously). For example, the Quintessence of Knowledge in alchemy can only be done by shamans. Don't know if tinkering has such combines.

BTW, iksar can tinker on test?

Not true, I don't think. My unsterstanding is that non-shamans will not be able to hit combine, much like resarch (could be wrong on this).

Non-rogues can do poisonmaking theoretically. Though little point as majority of posions are useless to non-rogues. Non rogues only likey to do the no fail recipes (white lead and celestial essense) to support other recipes.

yupyup, my dwarf made her own collapsable fishing pole & animated bait long ago... would think you could try anything, with the obvious horrible failure rate of someone w/no skill....

one of my alts w/absolute 0 skill in tailoring tried a quiver for his very 1st ever tailoring attempt & actually produced a quiver, so dumb luck is still involved hehe
