  • Collapsed Spell Research Books

I have a gnome tinkerer, skill 222 now, and I am asked quite frequently if I can make collapsed research books. Of course, the answer is no.
However, it would be great if it could be possible, and I am sure it couldn't be too difficult. Same concept of the kits, but take the appropriate research book and combine with other items to make a collapsed book. I wouldn't think it would be too difficult and would make a lot of people happy freeing up a space in their banks or inventory to get rid of that infernal book.

As soon as the servers go up, I am going to make a /feedback petition, and I encourage other tinkerers to do the same. The more /feedback responses, who knows. After all, the squeeky cog gets the grease.

Odd - never been asked for those. More commonly asked for a forge or brew barrel.

While I think the concept is nice, I think a line has to be drawn somewhere and it was drawn at the primary tradeskills containers. You'll notice that secondary containers like the Medicine Bag, Bearskin Potion Bag, Medium Clay Jar, Glaze Mortar don't have collapsing equivelants either.

So, I'm pretty much in agreement with the current set of collapsed containers currently available and that no additions are necessary.

Yes a forge or brew barrel is what I get asked most for. One guy did want a Collapsed Girl and if when summoned, she could summon beer. That has been my strangest request.

Yes. I am asked if forges and brew barrels can be made as well, but I get a few for research books as well. Think about it. Books fit in bags, why shouldn't these ones too?

Some people may have mixed feelings about collapsable research books, but the few that have asked me said they would buy one if they ever made it where they could be done. Personally, I think it's a good idea.

The first two you mentioned are already on test, IIRC.
