Coiled Springs

In the last month of play - I have spent at least 3 if not 4 sessions in PoInnovation, each being no less than 2 hours of fast clearing with my monk looking exclusively for coiled springs (several guildies are now tradeskilling and want collapsible kits) I have NOT found a single one dropping in all that time....

Is my luck just that bad or has something been changed in the drop rate of the coiled springs.

Note, this is on the EMarr server and usually done in the early afternoon EST (if this makes any difference to the checks on drop rates.)

I have to farm these for AAAAs as well. I usually clear the entire zone once looking for Coiled Springs, Innovative Clockwork Gears, and Mana Battery - Class Six. Sometimes I only see 2-3 coiled springs in an entire clearing but usually its between 6-10 so it looks like it just comes down to luck of RNG.

/ass Krrak! I used to play Madisyn on emarr. I've had a hard time farming springs too, when I was skill uping my tinkerer sometimes it would take me hours to get a couple. Other times I would get like 5 for a clear. I think the droprate is just bad, period.

I think the drop rate is currently perfect considering the use they can be put to and the value of the items they make. It's bad enough seeing clockwork gnome bolts for sale on vendors at 18p.

Guess I will just have to wipe the zone to get some coiled springs - that really sucks - used to get 3 to 7 in a 2 hour session and that was just right to get some collapsed kits done... ahh well.

Having same issue for innovative clockwork gears, would love to see them add these as a super rare drop in the new zones or something, or have their drop rate increased on these items, spent an hr or so farming and usually only walk away with 5-6 for a rng,shm,dru,wiz aeing hard for an hr.

I second a rare drop from SoF robots. It's hard enough pulling guildies teeth to farm DoDH items, but PoI? Not fun!

I am an 80 cleric of fv server.. I solo 8-15 mobs at a time in there..just get away from the zone area for the drops you want..
