ABAA is used in making the chronal/discordant stones. i dont know of anyone that actually has one of these or even a guild that farms them

Would be nice if the different Amalgamator containers could get unique tokens. Ive had a rush on people buying my ABAA looking for an AAAA. Being the honest person I am, I exchange and refund their cash but it happens 1-2 times per day and is getting annoying.

I would love to know if trivials for these boxes were ever discussed or debated? I don't remember, but perhaps it happened on EQLive?

I am confused why the trivials do not get more difficult which would at least justify the gouging a tiny bit. Pricing for AOAA's started at 800k. With the base raw materials (steel) only trebling in cost (from roughly 15k to roughly 45k) and gnome bolts and shadowmane pelts becoming common drops the asking price seems crazy. I have sold some Gold boxes to resellers who think they are onto the bargain of the century.

An adjustment to the AOAA subcombines trivial to 400, with AGAA at 375 would seem reasonable? Is there a reason this wasn't done?

I do not think there is any need to increase the trivials on the subcombines. The idea, I thought, was to increase the cost of them, without too much added difficulty. Considering gold bars are 10 times the cost of Gnomish Heat Sources that step alone in the subcombine process is over 3k plat more in cost.

Also, with the popularity of the new cultural, the market for AAAAs, at least on my server, has exploded where no one can keep them in stock for under 200k. The gold ones I have seen go from anywhere from 275 to 400 in the bazaar.

These items are for making an augment where the difficulty should be in obtaining the base augment, not the container to do the no fail combine.

              Aldier again has it correct.

The idea was not to make it more difficult, just to make it more expensive. I felt that this was already painful enough on the difficulty part and it just needed a price increase.
