I dont know anything about the complex world of making things on the Dev side of things, but I have a pretty cool idea. What if you put in a small chance for your tinkered item to expode in your face, causing you and anyone nearby to suffer a small amount of damage. Nothing big just a little reminder that Gnomes shoud be given a whide bearth. Just imagine running though PoK or somewhere and running by a Gnome who is tinkering and it goes haywire and gives something like a firework grahpic around them while just giving a slight amount of damage. I think it would make for some funny emotes in PoK. It would also make hitting the combine button a tad more interesting. Anyways what do you all think.

I soooooooooooo much wanted to do that with the AAAA.
but unfortunately, current code does not allow "items" to cast spells.., only PC's and NPC's, I certainly had thoughts of making the players cast on "themselves" but... it just does not quite work as well as it sounds.
potions and clickies etc...are cast by the player

I'm not crazy about the damage idea, (especially since some zones like POK you cannot do damage so it would not work there) but something like a mushroom cloud and a "soot-suit" on the PC with a 5 minute duration.
