I made up my mind and gonna get my tinkerer to 300 in Tinkering. Never done big volumes of Master cultural stuff. Does the book "wear" out, like the aug books does? And if so, how many patterns will I be able to make before i have to do the quest again ?

well since the 4 parts needed to get the book are 2 from crushbone, 1 from unrest and 1 zombie skin which you should find on any vendor, you could get the parts at level 20 easily. When you do get the book it lasts for 10 times. Each time you get a backpack with 20 patterns for each slot you can make armor for(7) and you get 40 Wrist patterns. They stack well over 200, so you can make all 10 rounds of your books and have 1 bag with 8 stacks in it, 200 each. Then you go to town making stuff.

Wrists stack to 400 so you only need 7 bag slots.
