    Five AAAA attempts last night.

    336 Skill.

    100% success rate on all 351 trivial combines.

    60% success rate on 252 trivial combines.

    The RNG needs to be a little less random in situations like this.

    /em extends both middle fingers in honor of the RNG!

    I have wondered for a while if the final combine has a capped success rate like the GM BP and Legs do.

    Perhaps it isn't random.

      It is not capped.

      I figured it was enough of a pain to do all the sub-combines

        Whew! Thanks Ngreth, I guess the ones I've failed can be chalked up to the RNG just hating on me. Good to know.

          I have done close to 40 or so combines and failed 2 finals. Personally I would rather fail subs than finals...mainly because I am too lazy to log in the tinkerbot and get him 3 more levels for salvage. It usually takes me 7 bolts a box with 300 + old trophy. My bigest peave is running out of casings because I can't count...tinkerbot has 0 smithing.

            Failed a double handful of precombines on the road from 290-300, never failed a final.

            But **** those GM DoN BP's were a real kick in the nuts. gawd...

              I feel your pain Chakua, my last run of 2 I went 100%....100% success on all subcombines, 100% failure on both final combines. I haven't touched that toon in a few weeks now due to the bad taste that lingers

                    The first time I failed the final combine, I just sat there looking at my empty cursor for a moment in shock. It sucks to fail the easy combine

                      306 modded skill here and after making 4 AAAA boxes now i can say...

                      that RNG is a fickle lover

                      went a week failing every combine.

                      made 3 boxes since then without a fail. including 1 holepoker.

                      been months since my last skill up too...

                        Out of the 100ish I've made or so I've only ever failed 3 of them on the final combine. Seems to be every 25/30 you fail on em..

                          Having that high of trival on the final combine has to be some sort of bad joke. With all the work that has to be done, you would think we could get some generosity and not have to worry about failing since it.

                          Yup, I failed one today and im still sore about it.

                            I have failed 6 final combines in about 250 attempts. I think it should be a no-fail combine though after all the effort for 5 subcombines of 351 trivial and just the sheer number of other tradeskill subcombines needed.

                            And I started making AAAA's with 285 skill and a 5% geerlok and I don't notice a difference with 300 skill + 12% trophy (which is at 68% after about 120 AAAA's)

                              The truly "final" combine IS no fail...ie: the one to combine the Stone, Seal and Instructions, which results in the augment.

                              If the last combine to assemble the AAAA is made no fail...the next thing you know, someone is going to want one or more of those 351 trivial subcombines to be made no-fail.
