    1) Carry fish around with you
    2) Carry some bait around so you can catch fish to make some more bait

I'm not seeing the usefulness here. If I wanted to take up some bag space I could just carry bait around to begin with. All I'm doing here is taking up even MORE space with a container.

I know, I know I'm complaining about free stuff. But honestly... I really want a REAL companion to the fisherman's companion. I want clicky summon bait to go with my clicky summon fishing pole.

I see it as intended like this:

    I have 20 bait.
I fish and use most of that bait.
    I catch some fish.
I cut that fish up and use it as bait (and chum. mmm... chum)
    I catch more fish.
    I rinse, lather, repeat.

I like the idea. I won't be keeping a 2 slot container on any of my toons, though.

      My prayers have been answered!

At least 1 in 10 fishing attempts should be a fresh fish, so this effectively gives you infinate fishing. Even better than my original idea for the bait dispenser, which would be clickie summon tinkered bait (norent) and rechargable like a gauze press.

Since I'm a monk, I don't have a whole lot of bags on me, so the 2 slot container is a non-issue.

Works with 'Dragon Bay Snapper' and 'Cobalt cod' in cobalt scar, yields 10 as well on both

        edit: clarify yields

Make it a clicky that casts summon bait.
make it consume fish, uppermost in your inventory (like food/drink)

that way there is no issue with a 2-slot container (yuck)
and you Still get various yields from different fish (yay)

You could not code a spell to consume various reagents. If they made it a clicky, it would take fresh fish and fresh fish Only.

be grateful they even came up with this idea. personally if im going fishing, ill sack a container to put this thing in inventory so i never have to go back and get more bait, sitting hours on end fishing, destroying rusty daggers and sandals.

Yes, it can be Tokenized, as per the other thread (in Fishing forum)

3 lb. fetid bass yields 3
4 lb. fetid bass yields 4
14 lb. fetid bass yields 14

I think I see a trend here of 1 lb per yield, but these are the ones I have personally done.

                              Sewer Catfish did NOT combine.

Again Blame Absor, he made it. I only made the book saying how it was made (and messed that up anyway!). I am not prone to change it. It is a toy. Use it, don't use it. Your choice
