  • Any DoD tinkering combines between 150 and 350 in DoD?

    Perferably with parts that can be obtained at a rate better than 1/hour?

    At this stage, most tinkering combine with DoD are 351. Other than that, best to scan the forums here, DoD updates and general tinkering recipes.
    Mensei 88 Rogue (Gnome) Sal3, GM 300 in all base tradeskills +Tinkering & Poison Making (Melee Research 296 - getting there)
    Menssia 75 Cleric (High Elf) Sal3, GM 300 in all base tradeskills (except Research)
    (Terror Australis - 'The Rathe/Karana')

      not realy, most of the gear boxes (which is what you would acualy be making) are 351 trival. however you CAN very easly get the drops for one or 2 of the gear boxes (i belive poxysmits and schrindle) rather easly in that time. if your and enc, i would highly suggest charming one of the creepreaper toilors on the other end of the zone and using them since they basicaly quad for 285.


      To do this you should also kill any of the gnomework types but for the bankers and the vendors, though i would clear the vendors as well since it resets them and you can get lucky when not farming.

      note this also requires about 150 smithing, and an a** load of plat

        Heh I'm working on the quest with exactly that in mind. It's too bad all these other tradeskills get nice triv subcombines. Tailoring got a great couple combines at 250 and 270ish, though the availability is somewhat low on those items, it's a nice viable step.

          Did they nerf this??? I noticed when I went to farm the toilers that they were no longer there. I spent about 4 hours in the zone yesterday, checking them several times, so I assumed that the GM's despawned them due to some sort of bug/exploit...

            If you kill all the toilers in the zone, you spawn a raid mob. Presumably the toilers stay despawned awhile after that.
