Unconfirmed DoD Tinkering Recipes

I am posting these here, because I am unable to confirm them as I am not a tinkerer, nor do I know any high level tinkerers. I did not post these in the DoD Data Submissions Forum because they are UNCONFIRMED.

However, I am hoping that by posting "possible" recipes here, a tinkerer can do some work and get them confirmed and in turn post them in the DoD Data Submissions Forum.

*I believe all (dropped) "Clockwork" items drop in Corathus Creep.

- 5 Pinion Gears (combine 5 Clockwork Pinion Gears in toolbox to get a bundle?
- Burin (bundle?)
- then add 5 individual small epicthiek's power belt
- add Poxysmit's Gearbox Casing?
(for a total of 9 items after subcombines?)

*Scrindite's Gearbox?
- Innovative Clockwork Gears?
- Coiled Spring or Clockwork Gnome Spring?
- Clockwork Gnome Shaft?

Posting DoD tinkering recip's here?

Was wondering if it would just make more sense to post DoD tinkering recipes (confirmed or not) here in this thread? I am noticing that a lot of different skill recipes are being posted to Depths of Darkhollow Data Submissions area and it is becomming increasingly difficult to find recipes for one specific skill.

All people would have to do is post them here, and once they are confirmed, then tag it as such.

Could the burin above be a Dihedral Burin? I haven't tried it yet, I'm at work. will post later

There was also a Burin from the old Coldain shawl quest. But thats lore so how can you make a bundle?

Its neither of those burins, no sign of the new ones yet though... nothing new showing up on /buyer item search, so there must be a recipe for them hiding somewhere, unless they were inadvertantly left out of the drop tables...

Burin

1 - A steel cutting tool with a sharp beveled point, used in engraving or carving stone. Also called graver.

Any items flagged with tradeskill match this descriptor?

I found that the Burin recipe was not in the book it was suposed to be in... I will try and remeber to post the missing book text... (the book has been altered, but the change will not go in until the next patch...)

Could the Burin be the hole punch described in poxysmit's text?


"Scrindite also had me specify the tolerances for a hole punch that he needed for his mechanoinstruction holepoker. The hole punch is made in a forge using a hand made mold described by Scrindite, and melting a large brick of high quality steel into it and tempering it with celestial temper. Finish it off by filing away any burrs from the mold. Be sure that no burr is larger than .1 of a hair."

That would translate to Combine in forge: (UNCONFIRMED...just speculating)
1 Hole punch mold (pottery combine? described in scrindite's book possibly)
1 Large Brick of high quality steel
1 File
1 Celestial Temper
1? gnomish heat source (seems almost all the HQ steel uses it)

Given the bundled recipies, combine in toolbox
5 hole punch


PS: I did try combine 5 dihedral burin in toolbox. Was DNC

Nope, the hole punch is a completely different item, used in a different recipe =)
