Aye, but that's not what I meant.

    Consider this:
You hit forage, no lag, it takes 2 minutes (just guessing...I don't know the delay offhand) to get the item.

Now, you hit forage, hit some lag within that 2 minutes, and 2 minutes and 3 seconds later, you get the item.

If your pause falls between the "normal" delay and the "lagged" delay, you might /autoinventory BEFORE you receive the item...in which case, it's on your cursor. Every time you do that, it builds up on your cursor (up to 10, I think...at which point, it just poofs.) Every /autoinventory just does the current showing item on your cursor.

Three reasons that this isn't a problem.
      1. When you hit forage you get the item right away. There might be some lag, but not 50 seconds worth.

      2. Even if something were to go wrong and you were to somehow manage to not recieve the forage before the next autoinventory, it would never "build up" beyond one extra item on your cursor. The first time it happened you would get an extra item, but if it happened a second time, the autoinventory would clean up the first item.

      3. We are talking about someone physically hitting this hotkey every 3 and a half minutes, not an unattended macro, so if all else fails you can just put it away yourself.

        Make a hotkey

I set up for training my ranger with a hotkey so that while fighting i can still try to forage. I use this to train forage/beg/pickpocket(rog).

        /attack off
        /do ability 1 (forage)
        /do ability 2 (beg)
        /do ability 3 (disarm/pickpocket)
        /attack on

If you forage something then you need to stick it in a bag some how. I either keep a bag open for that or just hit "I" and get your inventory window up.

Added the numbers in this thread:

            Total forages: 2028
            Pile of Rust: 1108 = 54,63%
            Clockwork Grease: 541 = 26,67%
            Phosphorescent Goop: 379 = 18,69%

Thats every 4 forage that gives a Grease ...
