  • Looking for Different skillup options

Dinged 222 in tinkering yesterday! I have started to prowl the sandy beaches of Gulf of Gunthak. The only problem I have with this is while I am farming this area, I reduce the mobs available for the people that like to XP here. This area is still fairly popular as an XP option. I dont really like taking away the XP from these folks. I have tried buying the stuff from them and it works occasionally just not enough though. The bazaar also has very few of the LOY items I was looking for. Anyone have any other suggestions on possible skillup options?

Well, since my Tink is already GM, I guess I'll let ya in on a secret.

Most everyone considers the stuff you're looking for vendor trash. Check the merchants - there in Gunthak and in PoK. You'll soon have stacks of what you need to GM tinkering. Don't forget the PoP merchants too, for coiled springs and such.

If you're on Zeb server, let me know. I still have stacks of stuff left over from my skilling that you can have.

I wish that people sold these items to the vendors more often. I constantly look for them on vendors and only find small amounts of the items. My character is on Druzzil Ro so looks like I cant take advantage of your offer

If your sever has a supply of PoP metals try making Cams.

PoP Cams (Moten/planar etc) =Trival 282 (Grease from PoI- Metal from various planes)
Crab cracker = Trival 288 (Knuckle Joint from PoI)
Woks = Trival 302 (Carapace from PoI)
Coiled Springs/ball bearings (used in so many recipes. PoI)

Really PoI and merchant farming is your friend when trying to go from 220's to GM.

Best of Luck on on your way to GM status

Tons of PoP metals are available on NPC vendors. The problem is finding enough Clockwork Grease since each cam requires two of them. However, it can be done -- that's how my gnome finally reached 250, making molten bow cams with grease foraged by my druid.
