Gelidran Hide (not sure of that's the real name - OoW drop)

Boot Gasket (made with tailoring - 30 trivial)

-severed feran tentacle (OoW drop?)

Still a few question marks in there. Anyone seen that hide yet? Know what zone/mob?

Where did that recipe for the boot gasket come from?

Boot Gasket recipe was given to us by a sweet little halfling. (Hmm, that is very redundant.) Niami said it was not obvious and was left out of recipe book so she put it into the database to give us a hand. (she also gave us potters a nudge on recipes too but I don't think any of us have managed to get the critical drops to try out the recipes yet)

Feran is one of the types of mobs that are mentioned in the tailoring books although I haven't seen anyone report on finding them yet. Geldiran and Pyrilen are the mobs with rift affinities - I know they are supposed to be in the Riftseeker zone but not sure if they are elsewhere. I hope the zone is accessible because it seems like a lot of the special tradeskill drops come from them.

I saw some ferans last night in an XP group in the Noble's Causeway. No severed tentacles dropped though.

Yeah quite a few stalking Feran's in nobles Causeway.

To find some Ferans:

Enter Nobles' Causeway from Dranik's Scar. Follow the floor of the canyon north to the first split. Turn down the left fork towards the west. You will come to another split where the canyon goes west and north. On your right is a ledge that leads along the north fork. There are 6 or so Feran spans on that ledge.

Dropped a 'severed feran tentacle' from a 'named' Feran near the Walls of Slaughter zone in. I forget exactly what it was called and can't find it in Illia's bestiary but it was a higher con than the others. Group had no problems dropping it. Something like 'angry', 'enraged', sorry just can't remember.

Note recipe appeared a few days ago in the OoW Submissions forum, but was not repeated here. FYI, it was:

Ice Cream Churn
WT: 2.0 Capacity 8 Large (Triv 275)

Ingredients:
1 steam powered piston
2 metal rods
1 boot gasket
2 sprockets
1 unfired medium container
1 icy gelidran hide

Not yet seen hide for sale

This is actually rather silly.
Mob that drops the hide is meant to be lvl 70 apparently.
No way am I going to be able to get close to there so I am left with people selling the item and so far not seen a single one for sale anywhere.
This **** ice cream had better be worth it.

On Zeb server, I have a few of the hides I found on an NPC merchant. If you see me on, mention you saw this post on EQTraders, and I can give you a couple. Free of charge if you collect with your tinker title showing you have a chance at the combine.

I don't have any of the tentacles and vendor mining isn't reliable enough to imagine I'll find any, or I'd use them myself.
