Missing Recipes and Mystery Components

I was looking through the brewing recipes and stumbled across the recipe for Superior Lichen Spirits with it's byproduct of a Jar of Gnomish Cleaning Paste. Neither of these items are listed in Allakhazam and neither have known uses on this website either.

Now there are a few items in this game which bug me since I have a gut feeling that they must be for something and this Jar of Gnomish Cleaning Paste sticks out like a sore thumb as being for some tinkering recipe that hasn't been found yet. There are others, the antigravity unit, the gnomish cookpot, etc.

Now I'm not talking here about fantasy recipes or things that we'd like to see in game, I'm talking here about items that feel like they should have a tinkering purpose but they aren't known yet.

So what items are sticking in your mind right now as being components for missing recipes?

I was just going to post something similar, in regards to the Flame Bolt and Anti-Grav device. 2 recipes with no known use, though the possibilities are fairly evident from the names. Has anyone who communicates with Dev brought this up? Or what of the recipe for Fizbin's Guise? One of the drops doesn't even seem to exist, the cloak drop....

Any of the mod's have any insight for us?
