  • Relationship between Nuisances and Chittlerlings?

Hunting in Shadeweaver's Thicket for chitterlings has proved both frustrating and annoying to no end. I can barely find any chitterlings, and when I do...it's only one. They seem to be a rare spawn here. Considering that most rare spawns have place holders, a thought arose in my little gnomish mind. Are the nuisances (aptly named) related to the spawning of the Chitterlings in any way? If so...why haven't I been picking on the bloody things earlier?

I'm going to test this a bit and post my findings. If someone has any information on this please let me know. I'm getting desperate...farming Mons Letalis is just too bloody dangerous for me.

Chitterlings spawn in the hard side of shadeweavers and then path through the north tunnel into the good side. At any one time there are rarely more than 3 or 4 chitterlings in the whole zone.

When I hunt for chitterlings I use my halfing ranger alt to track them down because finding them with my gnome main is next to impossible. It was while doing that I spotted 7 chitterlings at once. Great - thinking my luck was in I ran to get them farmed as fast as possible. As I got nearer to the first one I noticed the others were moving closer too..... odd - maybe I'd found the main spawn point and all 7 were in the same spot Brilliant...... NOPE..... all 7 were stuck under the world.

So what I'm trying to say is, unless you find a ranger to assist you or level your own ranger to the 20's so they can farm for you, you will be spending a huge amount of time running around shadeweavers with little to no chance of spotting any chitterlings.

The only spot I've found that chitterlings will turn up with any regularity is the north tunnel entrance as they make their way from the hard side to the easy side of the thicket. Maybe once every 30 to 60 mins at best though.

Yeah, chitterling barbs also drop in Mons Letalis, but the problem being my little halfling ranger is only level 18 and I'm level 51 with no way to track, as an enchanter. I don't have very many high level friends that would go out and find the little buggers and help me kill them.

And as far as the relation ship goes...I'm honestly not sure. I was slaughtering the nuisances and finding MORE chitterlings. I believe I had 4 on track at once!! The problem being...I did a /who and found out that there were two newbies slaughtering in the zone for exp...

I managed to get two chitterling barbs, and out of those two I managed to make one Geerlok Sewing Contraption. Yeah! My friend, the halfling tailorer, is going to love this thing!

Because I honestly don't plan to go and kill more nuisances to find out if they have a relationship, I appologize for the post. I was just hoping that someone had some information about it.

May I also state that three of the chitterlings on track were in the tunnels.
