Is Tinkering lvl capped

iv got a 31 mage gnome and was wondering if the tinkering skill is capped by lvl similar to that of alchemy, if not i might just skill it up

It is capped at 50 until lvl 16 then a gnome can take it all the way to 250.

My 250 tinkerer cleric is still lvl 16.
Has higher tinkering skill then every other melee/casting/trade skill that you can get skillups for combined. =)
