170 to 182 on Platinum Crimson Ribbons

I found someone selling 250 sylvan berries at a cheap price in the bazaar one day, needless to say I bought 10 stacks (200 berries) and converted them into sylvan dyes. With a backpack full of dye, I trudged my way to that LoY lighthouse, bought platinum ribbons and started snipping away...

I started at 170 skill, 96 combines later I hit 182. That's about 1 skillup per 8 combines, is that the usual skillup rate on ribbons? Btw I have about 5 stacks of sylvan dye left if anyone on innoruuk wants them..

The skill up per combine for the ribbons was great. Now is this by design or was the RNG gods a smiling. Only drawback for ribbons is that no one seems to want to buy them from me ( Im a Hafling so I can't use them myself ) so it turned out to be an expensive way to go.
