You can buy mandrake root in Thurgadin from one of the vendors in the same room as the bank. Also they are at a vendor in Halas, outside the cleric guild (I think) but as woodelf druid I am KOS there, so Thrug is where I buy them.

For more information, go to the main site, click "Trade Supplies", scroll down and click on "Tailoring", and then Ctrl-F and search for "mandrake". You will find several more places to buy it.

I mean no offense to you. I mean just to help you navigate the site.

Since when were wood elf druids KOS in Halas?

            Hmm.

When they attacked and killed barbarians, probably.

Some people don't mind trashing factions they don't need.

It can be argued that dr00ds (not druids) are one of the most famous for that sort of behavior, among the good classes anyway.

Evils, myself included, often raid cities we're not accepted in.
            I'm so KOS in Felwithe...

There's also a vendor in PoP, over in the buildings where the tailors and fletchers are.

Since the addition of the plane of Knowledge, i find that most other major cities for me are just a waste of pixels.

Bah, Kelethin still is a great way to practice walking while drunk...

In all seriousness, for those of us running on a lower-end PC (I'm running a P3-650 512MB GeForce2), PoK can be very choppy, esp near the more common bank (stone building) and near the Nexus stone.

It is nice having everything there, but if I'm going to work on fletching, I'll head to Kelethin (and forage those dews also!), smithing in Kaladim etc, just so the game runs smoother.

(But yes, it is very nice having almost everything for the non-cultural TSs in one place!)

Even with a nice enough PC and decent RAM, I think it vital to hit Shift-minus several times when in PoK and Bazaar, and then Shift-plus when you leave.

I didn't know Marus Seru had blue skies until someone reminded me my far clip plane was off.
