  • High-end LoY robe success rates?

The 5th and 6th robes in each series have trivials over 250. However, each of the previous robes seems to increase in trivial by 10 over the previous one -- first robe 212, second 222, third 232, fourth 242. (Some of these are not verified, but these numbers seem to be what the ranges are narrowing down to.)

By extension, we might expect the fifth and sixth robes to have trivial levels of about 252 and 262 respectively. This would lead to success rates of about 95% on the fifth robe and close to that on the sixth robe with skill of 250.

So, that being established: is this consistent with what people are seeing? Or is nobody making enough of these to tell?

The reason I ask is that I've just come into seven Runes of Tempest, the research component for the sixth Erudite robe. While I have no intention of trying them right now (current skill of 198 + geerlok), likely success rate will affect exactly how long I wait (and, to some degree, how much I work on tailoring right now to the exclusion of other skills).

Thanks in advance for any info.

I've made 10 or 12 Robe of Tempests and I've failed once with an effective skill of 255. I think they're pretty easy to make.

              Hi

I tried this last night I had 3 combines for Tempest Robe and to my surprise with 200 +5% (10) I successfully made all 3 !

Btw I was just wondering what sort of price these sell for as I've never seen them for sale on Saryrn.

Considering the rune sells comonly for 5k on my server I double it on the robe and sell them all day long for 10k.

Saw the robe sell for around 30-40k on Tribunal, only saw 2 for sale so far.

                    Iksar:

Robe of Misery, 10/11 at 202 skill.

Buy words of Misery at 500, resell robes *currently* at 3k, thinking of raising at 5k cause they sell fairly well.

                    So far...

                    1) Robe of Abatement - I resell them to vendor. I dont have the room on my mule.
                    2) Robe of Obligation - See 1)
                    3) Robe of Requisition - Sell for 100pp, I have about 50 of them
                    4) Robe of Asylum - Sell for 200pp, I usually cary 20 of them
                    5) Robe of Tenancy - Sell for 500pp. Have usually a few of them. Thinking of raising around 1k because the price of words of tenancy went up.
                    6) Robe of Misery - Sell for 3000pp. Going to raise to 5000pp, they sell well and the price of Word of Misery seems to be going up.

Overall: Ykesha tailoring seems to be very profitable atm.

I see 10 - 15k on CT - they go for about the same as the Jungle Spider Fur Caps do from what I've seen.

The sucess rate on the tempest robes seems pretty good I thoink I have failed on 4 or 5 of the 20+ robes I have made. I started selling Tempest robes for 30K on Zeb and would sell a robe every couple of days. I have since dropped the price to 20K and I sell one every 3 or 4 days. The sales issue is more about the fact that folks still dont know about them. The robes were a tradeskills godsend to me. I now have some cash in the bank to further my TS. only 2 tradeskills left now that are under 213 unmodified skill. and the others will be climbing past 200 soon. the 7AA from planes access was a godsend hehehehe
