  • Superb Lion Hides

Ok, now that the patch has gone in I've gone back and looked at some of my stash of items that I always thought were for a trade skill. My un-stackable Superb Lion Skins/hides, forgot the actual type atm, are indeed for trade skills. I tried combining them with the normal tailor patterns and got DNC. Has anyone ever found a use for them other than for vials?

These hides came off the rare named lion in North Karana many many seasons ago, I've 3 of em rotting in my bank and would love to hear if any of you have experimented with them.

Are you sure these are called "Superb Lion Hides" and not High Quality Lion Pelts? I have never heard of Superb Lion Hides.

If you have HQ Lion Pelts instead, these are for making Fleeting Quivers and are pretty rare. Worth a pretty penny to Archers

Make sure of exactly what you have.

I have a Superb Lion Hide/Pelt also... Something else weird is I was cleaning out my inventory the other day (Post Patch) and found a Werewolf Skin(or Hide I don't remember which) and it says that it is used in trade skills! Anyone have a clue as to what it can be used to make?

There is/was a quest in Everfrost/Halas area that you gave it and some cash to some guy for a cloak or something. I am not sure of any other use. I have 2 of them from my paladins days in Mistmoore hunting granite for Ro Armor.

Due to certain other issues from the past, there was some speculation that the tradeskill label might get applied to any item that can be put in ANY container with a combine button that is recognized as viable SOMEWHERE. In other words, it might include items that are suppose to be gathered and put into a quest container that you "combine" before you turn the container back in for the quest. It sounds like the werewolf skins fit that.
