Trivial Change on Ribbons?

    Trivial Change on Ribbons?

    Hello,

    I was doing platinum grey ribbons just now and when I hit 174 with them I got a trivial message.

    The database states the trivial as 182.

    Anyone else who can confirm this?

    You made a mistake somewhere. Probably were using gold ribbons.


    After reading your post, I went to Gunthak, and made the last Human Ribbon, using Jaggedpine Dye.

    Then, I made the 5th DE Ribbon, The Platinum Grey ribbon, that you mentioned.


    Neither one was trivial at 178.

      I definitly did platinum ribbons. I had 12 dies and bought 12 platinum ribbons for 1260pp. After hitting 174 I got the message with "You can no longer advance your skill with this item."

      I should have made a screenshot. Maybe it was a fluke, but I got this message for every combine after 174 (which where around 8 or 9).

      I only noticed this after I finished combining since I dread looking at the possibly non-existant increases.

        Were you using Hickory Shears instead of Elm shears? I bet that was your problem...

          I only have Elm Shears. I don't possess Hickory Shears

            As far as i can recall the dyes always use the same shears. Doesn't matter if it's silver or plat ribbon. The wrong shears shouldn't combine.

              I guess it was a fluke. I combined the Bamboo Shots platinum ribbons and it wasn't trivial. A strange bug maybe...
