PoP Tailoring Question

Hello All,

I was looking at the Storm Rider leather armor recipe on the PoP tailoring recipes page since I see storm rider skin and electrified copper on vendors fairly often:

storm rider skin + electrified copper studs + emblem of storms + pattern

The smithing recipe for electrified copper studs on the PoP smithing recipes page:

3 electrified copper bits + hurricane temper + file

The recipe for electrified copper bits:

planar ore (electrified copper) + smithing chisel

My question: Does the electrified copper have to be enchanted first?

vial of distilled mana + electrified copper

Should the bits recipe be:

enchanted bar of electrified copper + smithing chisel

Are the enchanted bars of electrified copper just used for jewelcrafting?

Nope, don't need to enchant the ore first, that is only for the JC recipes (ie you need one enchanted bar to make the emblem, but not to make the bits)

I was curious to know success rates of 250 tailors for this type of armor.

Of course, I did a little more research and discovered that the hurricane temper for the electrified copper studs requires a Drop of Pure Rain, which I understand is pretty rare.

You'll find this is the case for most PoP recipes. You can find most of the ingredients really cheap, but there's always one piece missing.

The electrified copper and stormrider skins are often on vendors because they're the common parts of this recipe. Once you've got a few stacks of each sitting around and no drops of pure rain at all, you stop saving them and sell the extras to merchants.

As to the question though... no you don't need to enchant the electrified copper. You only enchant it for jewelry, not for smithing or tailoring.

my success rates on nightmare seems about 60%-70%, storm around 50%-60% and elemental around 40%=50%
