Grizzly Bear Skin?

I apologize if this is an old question, but I poked around a bit and did not see any posts about this on the site.

I have about 60 Grizzly Bear Skins. They are NOT Thick Grizzly Bear skins, this is something different. It is not listed on the Pelt Drop Guide, either.

Are these usable in anything? I cannot use them in Poison Vials, and haven't come up with any tailoring recipes.

Have these noble animals been skinned for naught?

The grizzly bear skin is used in a variety of newbie armor quests, although frankly I don't remember which ones.

This is one of the times I think someone at Sony fell off the overpass they were walking across after running out of gas, fell head first onto the expressway below and after being run over by ten or twelve monster trucks came up with the idea of changing the name of the skin needed to make potion bags. At least I can’t think of any other logical explanation. I understand their desire to add another skin to the grizzly loot table for nebie quests. But would it really have been so difficult to leave grizzly bear skins alone and simply add thick grizzly bear skins for the newbie quests? As it is I’m constantly confused as to which skin is used for potion bags.

Seriously, unless you are doing the quests, treat the grizzly bear skin just like a ruined skin. It has its uses but it’s very limited and not worth saving. What is now the thick grizzly bear skin, on the other hand, is useful for either skilling up, selling to shaman or for making 10 slot bags to give to newbie players.
