runes of tempest

I am now a 181 (190 w/geerlok) tailor (good god this is by far the bloody hardest skill I have tried) and am looking to make some erudite tailored robes of tempest. I have gotten a bunch of ribbons made along with everything else required except for runes of tempest. For the life of me I cannot find these. Ive looked for 2 weeks in the bazaar and not once seen one for sale and havent seen em drop off mobs. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I figure at my low tailoring skill it will take roughly 15 attempts to create one but at any rate would be nice to have spell damage 3(or whatever it is called).

Rune of Tempest is used in several rare wizard spells as well, including Winds of Gelid (60PBAE)

If you're lucky enough to find one in the bazaar, do yourself a favor and find a GM tailor. You won't find many, and the ones you do find are likely to be expensive -- better to just find a GM tailor willing to take a couple thousand plat to do the combine for you. (Especially since, if you ever find one, I can't imagine it selling for less than 3 or 4k per rune, probably much more.)

I buy the runes when ever I see them and I also advetize on the server auction channel. I pay 2K per rune have seen the runes selling in the bazaar for 5K and somebody was selling a tempest runed swatch for 10K. if you look in the research forum you will see where the runes drop. They are 60+ zones. they are slow to come by I get 1 or 2 a week Via the Auction channel. and unless you are on the FV server you have to find an Erudite GM tailor.

Aye. Rune of Tempest and Dew Clover are the two hard to find Erudite components. Both are used in rare, valuable caster spells in addition to being tailoring components now.

The few Tempest robes Kirasha has made have sold easily for 25k and there's one on Karana for sale for 40k.

I bought both my runes from npc merchants, 7 plat each, not bad. If you want to see something really hard to find, try "Words of Abrogation". Currently in the Torv Bazaar, there are a couple of "Robe of Tempest" and "Robe of Misery" for sale but only one top of the line DE made "Robe of Abrogation" has yet to be offered and it sold rather fast. I turn out "Wings" and "Ellipse" on a regular basis but have never seen either the Argli robe, swatch or YCP 73 R.

BTW, I have quite a few random LoY research items, willing to trade those if I find a Erudite tailor who wanted those for payment. Origomali, 52 Heretic.
