I decided to work a bit on my long-neglected tailoring skill and since I had collected up dozens of sylvan berries (which I had acquired while foraging for morning dews for high elven cultural smithing) I decided to use them up and make some silvery crimson ribbon.
I started at skill 93 in tailoring, and after 50 ribbons (40 success) ended up with 116 skill in Tailoring when I hit the trivial mark for making Silvery crimson ribbons.
On another note - I made 60 sylvan dyes (sylvan berries + water) and never got a single failure. I might have been very lucky, or it's possible that the combine is a no-fail type combine.
