Finding a GM Halfling tailor... how hard?

Hello everybody!

Well, looking at the recipes page, I figured it might be interesting to gather some components to benefit from the Halfling cultural armor for my Half-Elf Ranger... But I had a hard time enough to find a GM tailor to attempt generic Velious tailoring. How hard is it to find a GM tailor of a specific race? It won't be worth it to gather the components and not find a tailor 'till I hit 60 anyway... :roll: I play on Vazaelle if that matters.

Try posting on your server's Marketplace Forum. There might even be a list of Tailors you can look over. And good luck!

Just walk into PoK, tranquility, or the Bazaar and swing a stick and you should find a GM halfling tailor.

Mind you, it should probably be a rather long stick, with a big sign on the end saying "selling tuffs of dire wolf fur and misty acorns at reasonable prices, bulk discount rates. Very favorable trades for cultural products! Ask about our special on High Quality Brute hides! Free Pie with every purchase!". Oh, and you may have to swing that stick 24 hours a day for about a week, but you'll find one.

Or you could annoy every level 65 druid on your server, one of them is bound to be a halfling and a GM tailor. Now the real task would be to convice the person you just annoyed to have anything to do with you afterward. :twisted:

p.s. have you considered Tae Ew chain instead of halfling cultural? compair the stats and make your own decision.

Depends completely on your server. Some have lots of halfling tailors; mine had no GM tailors for a very long time, and even fewer halfling ones. Still has very few. You kinda get lucky to find one, sometimes. If i were you I would ask the different guilds you know of, especially the high level ones, if they have one or know one.

I was under the impression that roughly half of all GM tailors are halflings. But it would certainly vary by server.

There's quite a few on Zeb. Just ask around. People that are hardcore into tradeskills usually know someone who knows someone who can make ______ for you.
