LoY Ribbon items in FV and DL

Just some information that might be useful to someone out there.

Honey Berry - Which is used for the Iksar robes dropps rarely from mobs in DL. Dolvargs however seem to drop it uncommonly. Also shouting in ooc can help out your search too. I just set up in the middle of the field across from the ruins camps and proceeded to kill everything. Honey Berry drops are about 1 in 8 - 10 Dolvargs. Honey Berry can also be foraged here as well. It took me about 4 stacks of dyes to go from 131 - 162.

Lichen Clover - I used this after maxing out Honey Berry to get me to 167. Friona Vie is much less occupied than DL so /ooc asking wont get you very far. There is a Dolvarg camp on the far side of the FV PoK book port in. I proceeded to once again slaughter enmasse. Same Drop rate as in DL. You can also get alot of words doing this. I wasnt sure what words were for what so i let them rot =p. It took me 30 dyes to go from 162 - 167.

Words of Requisition for the Iksar robe drop in Acrylia Caverns fairly uncommonly. I have about 7 of them in 4 three hour outings there.

I have found /oocing in DL by far the best way to get Honey Berries. I pay 10p per and give the sellers a free Bst crack.

After doing this a few times, a couple of loyal suppliers sent me tells regularly with further supplies so I did not even have to go back to DL to get them. Unfortunately they have now levelled beyond DL so I will have to go back and find myself some new suppliers.

Maneater buds, OTOH, are a pain to get as Swamp of No Hope is not well frequented. Fortunately I have my old main, a level 52 druid, to forage for me, but i am lucky if I get 3 Maneater buds in an hour's foraging, and that is likely to result in only 2 dyes . (They also drop from maneating plants so it is worth tracking these and running around killing them. I am not sure if they drop off other mobs, but I have not got any from other mobs).

So I have had to stop making Robes of Asylum (which is a pity, as they sold well for 1k each), and save any maneater buds I can get for Robes of Misery. (And boy don't I wish I hadn't blown a pile of buds making Robes of Obligation for skillups).

Good luck finding Words of Misery, hehe. But you'll have to get them yourself to make a profit on a Robe of Misery if that's your intention. Words of Misery currently sell for more than the robe, at least on my server (Sol Ro).

Even Tenancy or Asylum robes though (with slightly more common words) havenice stats and shouls sell well. Reason I picked up tailoring is I hope to be able to make these someday. Good iksar tailors are rare, so won't be much competition, hehe.
