It helps if you know which ribbons are useful if you want to sell them. As a highelf tailor I'm interested in Crimson ribbons and Forest Green ribbons. The crimson ribbons are in high demand in silver and gold, but nearly useless in platinum. But the forest green ribbons are best in platinum and not needed much in silver or gold.

      Correct sir.

The following ribbons would be quite useful.

The very first silver ribbon (Grey, Blue, White, Crimson, Cyan, or Indigo) (this would be for tailoring skillups, not for the robe)
The Very first Gold Ribbon (Same colors Grey, Blue, etc..) (This is more skillups ,and makes a decent robe.)
The very last Platinum ribbon ( Black, Beige, Seagreen, Forest Green, Teal, Brown) (This would be for that races UBAH robe. Probably not skillup fodder)
Possibly the second silver (Same above.. Black, Beige, etc...) (Same as #1, pure skillup fodder).

(And now, for a non specific rant, absed on bazaar experiences..)
And for christs sake, DO NOT TRY TO MEGA-PROFIT ON RIBBONS. I doubt very much you will make a profit on ribbons in the bazaar. You bought that plat ribbon for 105p, and dyed it? Don't try selling it for 150p. Unless it's a Beige ribbon, in which case the Bamboo shoots are so rare, the person buying it may consider it. For the most part, charge more then the vendor will give you, but make it convienenat to buy it.

Bought for 30p? Vendor offers 10? Sell for 20, and be a hero. Hell, match the 30p vendor price, and I might buy it from you.
Bought for 105, vendor offers 30? Sell for 75, and make some money back. Sell it for 100, and I might buy it if I need the ribbon.

The ONLY ONLY use for these ribbons is by HIGH END TAILORS. They wont pay exhorbitant amouns for items they can make themselves, unless they do not have LoY.

In conclusion, I hate Bamboo Shoots.
