Tattered Leperoth Clothing any use?

I looted one of these over the weekend while camping the castle in PoD. I tried to find a recipe or quest for it but nothing so far. Anyone here have an idea what it could be for?

There was quite a strong rumor that this item was used in a monk quest that yileded a very uber monk robe. Trying to confirm this, it was always "I heard" or "a friend of a friend said" or somrthing like that. Nobody could name what other components were needed for the quest, the quest NPCs, or what the final result was.

I've also heard rumors that it eas used in tailoring, even tinkering, once. Nobody knew what they made, or the recipe, of course.

It's officially still a NKU (no known use) item at this time. If a use is ever discovered, it's not too rare or hard to get anyway (farly common drop if you camp MCY, if you regualrly pull the maguses from the fronto fo the castle, you can get about 1 every hour or two). So I'd just destroy the stupif thing, and if a use is discovered later, will be easy to get another.

Unless you have spare bank space (which few tradeskillers do, especially for items that nobody knows a use for hehe) and want to save it on the chanve that a use is discovered for it some day. But PoP'd been out for 7 months now, and this item drops in a tier-1 zone; you'd thin if it had a use would likely have been discovered by now. Absense of evidence isn't evidence of absense, but still, it's seems very unlikely this has any use. As of this time anyway, it has no use anybody knows about.
