Best guess is that Magelo isn't allowing a direct link to the items. Trying to pull them up from the site seems to work fine.

The guy that runs magelo plays lots of games with compressed files, includes and so on.

When you want to look up the stats on an item, use this recipe for a web page:

But replace 30786 with the item number. He uses the same item numbers as used in the game. The lowest number actually used is 1001 (a cloth cap).

the "item_shot" page is generated on the fly (and is included when you do the eq_item_info page), but depends on several include files which is why you are getting the so called security error. Part of why it gets called a security violation is that he does not want folks farming his database in the manner that he farmed Sony's database: the goal is to make it complicated for someone to write a program to walk thru all the entries in his database to build your own.
