Sigh, wish this stuff wasnt so rare. I hear reports of people trying robes that require sap 5 or 6+ times to finally succeed (thats like 15-20ish saps). Just wondering how people manage to accumulate so much sap quickly? I spent weeks hunting Fire off and on just to get 3 saps for my first try and of course fail. Well I wasnt fighting there 24/7, but it was many hours total, alot more than the 8 hour approximation I heard before for 3 saps. Fighting there solo as the only spot people want to xp at is the castle area.

Beg, plead do whatever it takes to get you more support than just soloing. Out of all the saps, the Obsidianwood is the most rare thanks to the Aid Grumel quest.
Don't solo for heaven's sake.
