Last night I worked a bit on some tailoring, mostly to make some room and clear out small bits of this and that. I made some studs and had enough stuff to do 13 combines of studded leather. I was sitting at 50 in the skill. I start clicking and, out of habit, do NOT look for skill-ups (I don't want to get more depressed as I watch the combines scroll by without skill-ups). I finish and take a look (brace yourself for this) on 13 combines I got SIX skill-ups!

I know the Tailoring skill-up rate was changed but this is the first time I've worked on it since then. I'm pleased so I'm not questioning the results and I KNOW the RNG HAD to be being nice to me but it put the question to mind of just HOW out of the normal is this. Anyone want to give their input?

Sub 80 skill ups has always been pretty fast. I've had many triple skill ups back to back.

This isn't that far out of the ordinary. A bit on the lucky side, but only just barely, assuming you had a fairly high skilling stat. I've had runs even at significantly higher skill (up to the 140's) where I'd get a skillup every 2-3 attempts for stretches of 25-30 combines.

Congratulations on the quick skills although I have to agree, below a certain point, skillups are rather quick. I remember about 5 months ago when I first started working on Acrylia Studded, I got tired of losing so much Acrylia when breaking it down with my Smithing skill to make Studs, I worked on my smithing and increased my Smithing 30 points in 60 attempts.

Thanks for the input all. I've been working in the 180-220 range for 3 other skills for the few months (I do tradeskills in spurts and then exp hunt for a while, then back.) So, getting nearly 1 for 2 was a real shock. It made my night, I was going the happy dance (in my chair; it swivels so it was still fun) every time it came to mind.

If this is pretty normal, I think I'm going to work on that and JC for a bit just so I can see some progress in SOMETHING and remember the trill.
