Shar Vahl Tailoring Quest

I need some assistance, I have been working on the beginner tailoring in Shar Vahl, and trying to get my Needle Sets. The piece I am currently working on to make is the "bone beaded belt". One of the items needed to make this belt is a "grimling fingerbone". I have killed in the pit fighting Grimling Skeletons. I have probably killed 100 or more, but no success.

If anyone could help me as to what to kill to get a grimling fingerbone it would be much appreciated.

You have to go to Hollowshade Moor to get the grimling fingerbones. I've gotten them in the cave and on the islands....but, believe they can drop from most any grimling in that zone.

Be prepared for a long camp too. The fingerbones are pretty rare.

Yup.. just go to Hollowshade and massacre the silly grimlings and you'll get one before long.

Oddly enough when I did this quest the bone droped from the first grimling I came across :P

What's also fun is the fact that there's another quest where an NPC wants -four- fingerbones for some minor reward... yeah.. right.

He also wants toes. Just shout out your looking for them. If any grimlings are up there is probably a smith near by waiting to smack them down so the bears/wovles can take their camp. I'm sure they wouldn't mind whole sale slaughtering them while their waiting.

These fingerbones also drop from Grimling Runts in the Shar Vahl pit. Unfortunately they seem to be bugged, and only spawn for the first couple hours after a patch. If they kept spawning, then they would indeed be a viable source for newbies to get the 4 turnins for the quest.
