  • Halfling cultural tailoring

Somehow those Misty Acorns in Misty Thicket just don't want to be found... there used to be three locs where they were ground spawns but nothing seems to be spawning now... and I'm having no luck foraging for them either . Any ideas as to where the best place is to get my hands on some of these ? Any help would be appreciated

There have been some maps posted here before, I don't have a link to any, but from what I recall they look like random spawns all over most of MT. That's not much help I know. I get most of mine by foraging.

3 ground spawns seems about right. Also remember it takes 12 real hours for a respawn on most groundspawns (the grapes in MT are one exception to this). All in all, misty acorns are the bottleneck in halfling cultural. My suggestion is mug the newbies (if there are any halfling newbies on your server...) for their acorns. Leave 'em a few plat in their pockets, a few tailored goodies (patchwork, acrylia, whatever.), and a buff or two and they should be more than happy with the trade.

You think foraging misty acorns is a pain in the rear, 36 tufts of dire wolf fur ain't no joke either

            Dire Wolf Tufts

Ah, thanks Meirril I didn't realise it was 12hrs on the ground spawns... I guess I will stick at it for a while longer...

Hehe, true Tarhune... but fortunately I have over 2 stacks of Woven Furs and just need the Misty Acorns to get my skill up... it seems to be stuck at 164 :?

Try foraging in misty for 3 hours, then try foraging in Kael for 3 hours. I'll guarentee you'll get alot more tuffs than acorns. Misty Thicket has a rather large rare forage table (let think: Acorns, blackroot, epic fruit. I think thats it) while Kael has 1 rare forage (tuffs). Unless the RGN loves you in MT and hates you in Kael, you should get 3 times as many tuffs in the same ammount of time.
Now WW is a completely diffrent story.
