HQ brute hides

Are these as rare as they seem to me?

I have hunted and hunted across the DL's and FM and have only ever seen one of these HQ brute hides drop.

Is there any other way to get them? Considering the costs of acyrllia, I have decided to try to skill up using the halfling cultural tailoring, but I cannot seem to find a steady supply of HQ brute hides.

I've looted a couple from the Brutes in FM.... I also Dumpster Dive in PoK and have picked up half a dozen from there. I hope this helps..... It's amazing what people throw away (or sell to Vendors).

A while back someone suggested picking em up in the Bazaar, I thought, what the hey! I'll give that a shot... Over the past few weeks I've bought probably 20-40 HQ Brute hides, ranging from 10p - 50p each. I figure for the chance to skillup and maybe even succeed on a high level piece of armor, they are worth that much.

You might give it a try if you have a vendor up in the bazaar, every now and then do a search on Brute Hides and if HQ ones pop up for a reasonable price... go grab em.

I started buying ordinary brute hides form the vendors when I read about the guy that upgrades pelts... now of course it appears he only upgrades pelts useless to anyone who's taken their skill beyond tailored bags...

Now I have about 5 stacks of brute hides. /sigh. If only...
