Parchment & Quill (for LoY Robes) - where can Iksar buy?

Where do Iksars buy parchment and quill? I cannot find any suppliers in the list of spell research suppliers in a zone where Iksars are not KOS.

This surely cannot be true. Do all Iksar Necromancers have to make a mule to buy them for them?

Assuming you haven't done anything to specifically screw up your Luclin factions, you should be able to get the items in Shadowhaven. Worst case, you would have to do the quest to attain the faction necklace first.

Neither Cabalis, PoK, or SH have the Parchment and Quill.
Neither Skyshrine, Thurg, or Kael carry it.
Even Fungus Grove, and the Evil Echo merchants doesnt have it.

I would hate to be an Iksar.

Not to seem argumentative, and despite what you have quoted, I can assure you that quills and parchments are available. With moderate charisma and faction, I pick them up (quite a bit lately!) for aroun 2p per stack each.

First floor, caster's guild, left hand side as you enter the area, if I recall correctly.

EQTraders isn't wrong, it's just not accurate.

They never tracked Spell Research until LoY, so that data was probably omitted.

Quills and Parchement IS in Shadowhaven, at the merchant that is listed for the spell research books (Lexicon, Tome, et al). Also sells Malachite and Tiny Daggers as well.

I suspect that Spell Research info may also have come from other sources, ones that predate Iksar...

I suggest posting vendor updates to the Spell research forum.

The necromancer guild hall in West Cabilis has quills and parchments. It's the only vendor in the building, same one that sells the old research book.

Went searching around and found which merchant it is.

The pretty spell research vendor in Shadow Haven, on the bottom floor of Midst House, who sells the 4 research containers, also sells Malachite, Tiny Daggers, Parchment, and Quils.

I wrote down her Name and Loc at home but, Alas, I am not there.

She is probably one of the racist scum who would not talk to me because I am an iksar. :evil:

No doubt I could correct this by doing some Uncle Tom quest or other, but as I have to get the cultural robe patterns from Cabilis, I may as well get parchment and quills there also.

They will not talk to ANYONE in shadow haven before they do the Traders quest.

Oddly enough, my Gnome Enchanter was able to get around that for alot of vendors by throwing on his Illusion:Human.
