i can't sell plat ribbons to save my life. have received one tell in the weeks since release and that was from someone asking if they sold. i have been the only one in bazaar with them the entire time. perhaps when i get 187 i will try selling the dye for profit.

I think the reason the dyes sell but the ribbons don't is that people are buying the dyes to skill up making ribbons rather than for making robes. I know several people in my guild have been buying any dyes they can get thier hands on but have no interest or ability to make the robes.

I sold my extra Elm Shear for 250 plat.
My plains dyes are selling at 50 plat each.
I had my other dyes at 45 plat each and got a tell requesting that I lower my prices on sylvan dye and lichen dye to 30 plat and he would buy me out of them (about 30 dyes) so I did. I restocked 20 more sylvan dyes last night at 30 plat and they sold out again.
Even at 60 plat I have yet to sell a golden ribbon.
Runes and words required for the robes have been selling somewhat at between 15 and 25 plat.

I can attest that no one is buying these on Kane Bayle. I used these to level up to 185 a week after LoY came out and still have all 60+ that I made sitting in the bazaar.
I have even put the dyed ribbons up at the price I bought them from the vendor at the lighthouse and they still won't sell.
Now the dyes on the other hand sell well. I took the left over dyes I had when items trivialed out and sold them for 75pp each on Kane Bayle; which helped recoup a little of the cost.Aiell Wolfebrother

skilling up on platinum ribbons (any type of dye except plains, jaggedpine)
saving the pains dye/jaggedpine dyes so I can make them into silver ribbons since the matching swatch for those are more common and will use them to skill after 187 to 200+
will attempt to do trades but have yet to sell any in the bazaar (at or near cost)Bartox, 65 Monk
