For those of you who have not gotten to this point.... run away!

Long ago, I wanted to farm haze panther pelts, well after 2 stacks of black panther skins, and 1 haze panther pelt, I gave that up. Much later, I started farming velium (skyshrine is awesome for it) and buying 100pp skins in the bazaar. Suddenly I had 10 stacks of pelts. Then I started trying to find yew leaves. The first night I got 2 in 8 hours. After the first 5 hours, with one find on the ground, I started researching it. I ended up foraging the next one. The next day I came back for another 4 hours, and got 2 more ground spawns. No forages.

The forage rate on this is insane. Finding the ground spawn is insane. Sell the skins to the yew leaf farmers with the cheater program.

Tailored a full suit each of haze and black panther armor tonight.
Started at 213 skill, did less than 50 combines and got 4 skillups ending with 217 skill. I have tailoring mastery 2 and salvage 2.

One skillup in around 10 combines isn't too bad at this level.

600 velium boning, 500 black panther skins, around 200 yew leaf tannin, 4 calling birds, 3 french hens... uh, wait... no. That's not right. Drat those holiday songs! Anyway... I don't suppose there's an army of newbie monks in need of a supplier?

I figure I should be able to find yew leaves on the ground to finish those skins up by the year 2007...IF I'm lucky and IF the armor sells so I can make replacement pieces to put up.

Could someone with a photshop program please draw a nice little circle around the area of slighlty more yellow ground with the yew leaf on it. I see something that on my computer screen that in the lower picture looks like a little green clover at the 2 O'Clock position relative to the picture of Reztran. I spent a few hours the other night using overhead cam views trying to find anything that looked like that, but eventually found that to be an exercise in futility.

Does anyone know the repop time on the yew leaves in WL?

About 15 minutes. It's faster than anyone except a bard with a high drum can
run around that huge zone and pick them all up.

So even if WL got completely looted, a half hour later there will be leaves again.

using see-invis or some sight improvement spell is a must, since it changes the colour a bit and makes the yew leaves stand out a bit more.

Thank you very much. I must just be blind, they've all popped under trees, or they're all clustered in a corner somewhere then.

Very good point. I'm a gnome and we come with infravision. Even riding the fastest purchasable mount if I pass one I know it.
You still can't see them till you're fairly close, say within agro range of a mob, and if they're edge-on almost impossible to notice even if they're on the end of your nose.
I've never seen one on a tree other than that screenshot. If you're not in a different camera angle I don't think you'd even see THAT one.

On a slightly different note one lucky day I picked up almost a stack simply because 8 to 10 mobs died right on top of leaves, twice there were two leaves right by the mob's head! That one day renewed my spirit a bit (and made me /who all gm while looking over my shoulder for a guardian angel hehe.)
