I'm curious what the ten slot leatherfoot haversack sells for on different servers. I'm on the Tribunal, and the going rate seems to be pretty consistently 6k.

Just wondered what the prices were like on other servers.

5250pp on Karana because I'm a whimp. :P They were selling fine at 6k but I got tired of the uninformed "why when a tinker bag sells for 5k" tells.

I rarely sell them outright. When I have done so, I have sold them for 7kpp on the Luclin Server. I normally do it for donations (with me supplying the celestial essence, acid, water, and acorn oil). The typical donation is 1kpp - 2kpp per success.

I've only seen them selling for 7.5k on xev, which is about what they should sell for. Most people can't buy tinkerers bags for 5.2k and since the haversacks weigh less, it's a fair price given the amount of time for creating one haversack. Also I rarely see them sold, so that might have something to do with their price.

On Terris Thule, I pretty much had the market to myself in the last 3 months. Always sold at 6k, or 5500 for 2 or more.

I sell them for 6k on Povar, get alot of the "but Tink bags are 5k" i usually tell them to go buy one if they can't tell the difference. If some one supplies me all materials i ask for 3 BD as payment for successful combine(about 1500plat if bazaar bought).

Have seen them sold on Innoruuk for about 7k. Considering there is only 1 halfling tailor high enough to make them, that is pretty good. Although, I have been trying to get a hold of him for some time now and can't find him

I have started selling them on Vallon Zek for 5500-6000pp, but I think I will probably bump that up to 6500 after my initial marketing phase has come to a close!

been charging 8k or 2 for 15k on drinal. they are better than a tink.
people that recognize their value buy me out at that price. its not worth the time i could spend exping, raiding, or even making other combines that take far fewer steps to drop my price.
yes BDs dropped in price but people are asking 20-200p per single tuft of dire wolf fur. no, i wont pay that high, but since people see that price in baz/trader, fewer are selling at my buy price.

I could not see how they are better than a tink bag. I'd pay 5 k for a tink bag before I'd pay 5 k for something like a tink bag. Weight of the bags themselves is not an issue for me.

Hmm yeah, .6 for haversack and 1.0 for tink? I don't get the reason for spending more.

For some odd reason I regularly see people selling tink bags, in bazaar auction for 5 k. Maybe they are desperate for cash?

well, actually, the tink bag is 5250 with best faction and charis.................

that .4 difference in weight means a lot to a monk. times that by 8 slots, and you have a difference of 3.2 stone. pretty substantial for them.

and thank you for sharing that you wouldn't buy one, however, the thread was asking what these bags sell for on your particular server. so..........what do they sell for on your server? and what server are you on?

Bess-- I mean that as soon as I am ready for full scale automated production I will increase the price to 6500pp, once the marketing/advertising campaign has drawn in enough interest for the product. You sees, I went to the Rivervale School of Business for the Vertically Challenged.

I've only ever seen them for 6k each on Bristlebane.

I started them for 10k on my server and sold 4 at that price then lowered them down to 8k and sold a few now I am stricktly at 6k for them. The I can get a tink bag for less argument is not a consern anymore as I just tell them yes you can and go on auctioning they will pay my price or go buy a tink bag.
