HQ brute hides

anyone know a good place to farm HQ brute hides? I heard Dalnir tunnels...but I looked it up on EQAtlas and it didn't show a single brute under beastary.

The brutes aren't in Dalnir's itself, they're in the Warsliks Woods in the tunnels that lead to Dalnir's

hrm....I found like two brutes in the whole cave...neither of which dropped anything but coin. Is there a better place by chance?

One cave has 2 brute and the other has 3. Other zones with brutes to hunt are frontier mountains and the dreadlands outside of Karnors.

It's been my experience that the voracious brutes in Dreadlands have the best chance of yielding a HQ hide, but I have nothing definitive to back that up. They're pretty rare, in any case; it may take dozens of brutes to find one.

In my experience, the brutes outside Dalnir drop a HQ brute hide every 2-3 cycles (1 in 10 to 1 in 15). I forced most of my alts to spend time in levels 24-32 in the caves, and ended up with quite a few hides, and some decent cash.
